Everybody knows RU Sirius, right, from the old MONDO 2000 and Reality Hackers days. He interviews Jody Radzik who writes the guru critique blog Guruphiliac, which is always full of interesting entries.

I imagine a fair number of people here might not like Jody and his writing on gurus, but I think he's an insightful and sympathetic observer of the scene, with a good amount of personal knowledge and a practice of his own, and that he's simply describing what are obvious problems with the popular phenomenon of the guru business.
