The Moon and Mars Conjunct on my birthday 12-23-2007 : This was a really pretty sight, even tho the camera doesn't do it justice - the moon was nearly full, the day after the winter solstice, and mars is very bright, being nearly as close to earth as it ever gets - the two blazing in the cloudy night sky! Mars is the little reddish squiggle right under the moon.
